Drive to the Bang Pakong River in Chachoengsao province and make peace with the dolphins.

Every November and December, the Irrawaddy dolphin, the Pacific humpback dolphin, the Bottlenose dolphin and other species of the same large family visit the estuary to feast on the catfish. And they don't mind witnesses to their breakfast either, making this an ideal place for a day trip. The best place to watch the dolphins is from the fishing village of Tha Kham. 北柳府打造赏鸟观光基地

前副总理、前国会议长坡金昨天（22日）主持新闻发布会，宣布由他其担任主席的泰国观赏鸟联合会将于25日在北柳府【Chachoengsao】举办首届观赏鸟盛会。颇金表示，希望通过举办此类活动，北柳府发展成为泰国赏鸟观光基地。

坡金透露，此次举办观赏鸟盛会的地点为自己在北柳府的私人农场，位于空库县挽达叻镇。此次盛会将展示多种珍贵品种的鹦鹉及其它珍稀鸟类。其中还包括每只价值高达上百万铢的金刚鹦鹉。活动还举行观赏鸟评比大赛，观赏鸡评比等活动。并可以进行观赏鸟现场交易。

坡金表示，举办这样的盛会，意在推动北柳府成为观赏鸟的养殖以及出口基地，同时也为当地开发出新的旅游项目。此次盛会以泰国观赏鸟联合会的名义举办。主办方为参与观赏鸟展出及评比的爱鸟人士准备了两个奖杯，其中一个由颖拉总理提供，另外一个则由副总理兼观光与体育部长提供。

坡金表示，今后将每年一届持续举办这一盛会。目前联合会方面已经和北柳府政府以及县政府有过协调，当地政府这项活动也非常鼓励。
